I started this site in 2005 after our son, Wyatt, was born with a cleft palate. Over the years the posts became less about Wyatt's condition and more about every day life. Seven years later, its a place to chronicle my journey as an Army Wife and a working mother of two children struggling to find balance in life.

Speaking to United Way Staff on Behalf of Early Intervention
I've been asked to be a part of a presentation that Early Intervention is making in order to get more grants/funding from United Way. I am very proud and pleased to be speaking to them. All I have to do is tell them what life was like being anew parent of a cleft effected child and how Early Intervention has helped me. It'll be fun.
