I am feeling really positive about everything. Of course, I am grateful that we have buyers for our house (I AM holding my breath until May 15th when we close though.) We have a place to live in Kansas that is nice, albiet small. I have a new (well new to me) car that I LOVE.
Today Sandi told me the address of the home they put an application in for - guess what? Its on the same street as mine! Ages ago we told the guys we wanted to live in the same neighborhood. Then as the search for housing became difficult we said the same side of town and then eventually just the same town! So to live on the same street is just incredible! AND! Yes, there is an "AND" - we found out that our neighborhood actually feeds into the Manhattan school district and not the Riley school district (15 miles away and poorly rated). We actaully looked up the bus stops and there is one on our street. Tony is going over to Ft. Riley this week end to sign the lease and put down the deposit. We will officially celebrate once he returns with the lease!
Sandi and I are like family and we rely heavily on each other as such. Having her close by makes the thought of teh next deployment better for both of us.
