So we are back from 2 weeks in Georgia. We had such a great time with my parents, sister and brother-in-law. It was so good for us to be surrounded by family as Eric's 15 month deployment in Iraq SLOWLY comes to an end.
I am really, really hoping that Eric will be home for Thanksgiving on Nov 27th. So that's 3.5 weeks away. It doesn't feel real! He's been gone for so long! The MONTH is finally here! Now all we have to do is get through the next few weeks. The most painful part at this point is containing my excitement. At this point, I feel like I can celebrate! I've done it! I've survived my husband being in Iraq for over a year, while raising our son - who was 1 when Eric left and is now 3! WOW!
