It was 75F on Monday and now I guess some Alaskan cold front is moving in. I guess I'm grateful that the weather has been so nice so far into November. I do love the snow, but when its below freezing as a high...well that kinda sucks!

Wedding Cake Final

 
My 1st attempt at a wedding cake - its for my final grade for my wedding cake class. There are a lot of things I would have changed if I had done the cake at home. We had to incorporate a lot of elements that I probably wouldn't have if I had my own way. It was lots of fun, and I feel well equipped to design and decorate wedding cakes now though. There are many mistakes and issues with the cake, buit I feel like if I did the cake again I'd be able to do those elemtns right.

Wyatt Was a Lion For Halloween

We went to the mal to Trick or Treat since it was only 45 as a high. As you can see from the last photo, Wyatt didn't like wearing the head to his costume very much. Am I sick for enjoying that photo so much? It makes me laugh out loud. We came home around 7pm and he enjoyed answering the door and giving out candy as much as he did getting candy. I am worried though - when asked what he would like to eat for breakfast he will now reply "canny" (aka candy). LOL
