Well we've closed on the house - Yay!
The packers come next Wed and Thur (Wyatt and I are staying with Jeanette and Andrew for those nights) and the movers come next Friday.
I have the carpet cleaners coming next Sat and then I get to go to a wonderful wedding! We are staying at the hotel that has been booked for the wedding Fri, Sat and Sun. Jeanette and Andrew are looking after Wyatt for me from Sat afternoon until Sunday afternoon. I am going to celebrate my friend's marraige AND having an empty house!
Some friends, that have already moved to KS, will be back in town for the wedding and I will "caravan" with them back to KS on Monday June 29th. We'll be staying at their house until we can get into our new place and the movers deliver our things. I am hoping I will be unpacking by July 3rd and getting settled in.
So for now I've been cancelling utilities, washing comforters and curtains, patching walls, picking up medical records, sorting through our filing cabinet - all that kind of good stuff. Every day seems to fly by! I'm not stressed, just busy and ready to get settled into our new home and have Eric join us again.
Eric finishes school in Alabama July 15th. He'll come home for a couple weeks and then go to more training for the month of August. So it doesn't seem like we will be getting into any type of normal routine until September! BLAH!
I am staying positive and being grateful that things are running smoothly.
